Latvia has inspired me so much.
And so do all the fantastic, hidden and interesting symbolisms and myths in (European) folklore and traditions. There is still so much to learn and discover. Although I have been to Latvia a few times now – and have always been fascinated by the stunning patterns and signs that are traditionally knitted into gloves, woven into fabrics or used as ornaments in logos etc. I have never questioned their meaning. So I started a little research and was absolutely blown away. I made this poster to condense what I have learned.
